Great barrel checked throat and chamber with gauges alls good. Headspace checked hood was a little tight on a Microbest bolt but did lock in to the extension. Went to zero and I put the front sight on battle sight zero and rear on battle sight zero and no adjustments required. Thing hits dead nuts at 100 yards really surprised and to top it off the front sight base is straight as an arrow. Never had this on any rifle not even colt. So whatever jig they have to align the fsb it’s dead nuts. Keep it up. Great but no complaints at all only positive things to say. I will buy again!!

I concur with the first review. The FSB is perfectly installed. Rear sight on my A2 upper is dead center on zero. I believe these barrels are Ballistic Advantage. Not sure who is installing the FSB’s but they are doing it right. I shot it today for the first time and could keep most ammo within 1.25” benched at 50yds. Surprisingly for a 1/7, some Black Hills 50gr TSX was my best grouping ammo today. I wanted to build an M16A2, but I didn’t necessarily want to”retro”, more of a “modernized” M16A2 build, hence my choice of nitride rifle barrel with M4 ramps. It’ll probably be a work in progress in regards to furniture or other little parts, but this barrel worked out well as the core component (along with the A2 upper) for my “living” project build.
