This .223 Wylde chambered 16 inch barrel is machined from 416 Stainless Steel with a bead blasted finish. Our Premium Series Barrels feature a FailZero Nickel Boron Coated Extended M4 Feed Ramp Extension.
This barrel features some of the most aggressive and weight reducing flutes on the market. Coming in at a total weight of 27 oz. We’ve managed to cut almost a pound out of the barrel all while not sacrificing one ounce of accuracy!

My initial first impression were excellent; finish and flute lines are both respectfully very strong and the FailZero ramp extension is very well cut with smooth edges.
As for my post installation impressions, it’s worth noting they are very limited at this time as I’ve only put 200 rounds down range, but so far it too has exceeded all my expectations. In fact, I genuinely see no difference between it and my $500.00 “high-end” 16in .223 Wylde barrel. It actually out performs them.
The only reason I didn’t give it a 5 out of 5, albeit the item itself certainly deserves it for it’s cost vs quality, is because B. King’s Firearms took a especially long time without notification to get it out. Also, after inquiring why it was taking so long I received a somewhat condescending response followed shortly by a email stating “your item has been shipped”, which obviously means there wasn’t a legitimate reason for the delay, they just weren’t in a rush to get my purchase out/forgot about it.
With all that now said, minus the delay overall it was still a pleasant, easy transaction and at a fair price too. I would have no problem whatsoever buying another B.A barrel(I’ll be buying some others very soon actually) and could maybe even see myself doing business with B. King’s Firearms again so long their pricing outweighs the additional wait.

Installed the barrel last night and took it out to the range today (7-29-2018) for initial sight in and break in. BKings is always a pleasure to deal with. I initially was looking at the 14.5” SPR with a pin and weld but Blake steered me in the direction of the 16 inch and I’m glad he did. I also have a 18 inch 223 Wylde barrel that is a 1/2 Moa shooter.
This barrel was mounted on an Aero receiver set with a toolcraft bcg and MFT stock. Using 75gr Hornady bthp and 24.3 gr of Varget I put 4 bullets in 1 hole and the 5th was just off but still sub 1/2 MOA. I also had a 0.6 inch group with 77gr SMK / 23gr of IMR 4064.
Definitely recommend this barrel. Looks super sharp and shoots unbelievably well. Get it!!

Love this barrel! After installation, I took it to the range the next day and was very pleased with performance. Regardless of break-in I was sighted in in 3 shots and shooting groups while also running the cleaning regimen for break in. I was able to consistently shoot Sub-Moa groups with the heavy for caliber ammo.
