The FFSSR is a sleek, one-piece handguard that offers one of the slimmest profiles available on the market (1.360″), plus outstanding versatility for attaching your choice of accessories. Built-in, full-length top Picatinny rail provides plenty of versatility in mounting optics and sights, while four limited-rotation QD pushbutton sling swivel mounts let you position the sling where it’s most comfortable for you. Two rear picatinny rail mounts for sling hook type mounts. Sleeve-style barrel nut with 1-1/8” flats. Mounts using 4 standard, 2 low-head hex screws (included). Mounting holes every 22.5 degrees. Includes shims for proper alignment. Cutout sections compatible with all Magpul accessories, including rail sections. In addition, there are slots at the 45° positions to accept any accessory that fits Magpul M-LOK attaching system. Steel Barrel Nut finished in Black Nitride for corrosion resistance.

Nice rail at a good price. Listed weight (12oz) is just for the rail. The barrel nut, screws and shims bring it up to 15oz.

It is a solid handguard and an excellent cut but a pia trying to line up the rail correctly to the upper rail . Recommend lining up the handguard 1st and then going back to installing the block afterwards. I found out the hard way lol

Lightweight and slim. Nice QD Mount. Rails are located only in the places you need them. No instructions provided so had to look online. Install was not too difficult but required 1 1/4” crow foot tool to get proper torque spec. The crow foot tool (Amazon purchase as Bking was out of stock) had to be ground down to fit properly on barrel nut…tool was too thick. Had slight gap between forend and upper but could of been due to my inexperience with install. Mounting seems very secure. Good value and like the fact it is produced in USA and sold by Veteran owned company.

Great handguard. I get plenty of compliments from others. Since I dont have massive hands the thin area is perfect once I put a hand stop on it. The fit and finish of the handguard is easily better than you would expect in other handguards around this price range. No sharp edges and it’s very solid when mounted correctly. Would buy again for sure for different builds.
