Description
The BKF AR15 MOD-1 Rail M-LOK series provides an alternative aesthetically progressive design that is lightweight with our 7075-T6 Aluminum barrel nut and attach method. The innovative attachment of the rail and the barrel nut provides a solid lockup, a seamless, strong joint that requires no timed alignment to the barrel nut itself. All BKF MOD-1 rails (and receivers for that matter) are designed with pocketed cutouts to further minimize weight. In addition, BKF MOD-1 rails offer QD mounting at the rear 3,6 and 9 O’clock of the handguard.

It’s a very nice rail. It fits snug and tight on the barrel nut with four Allen head set screws. I will purchase another for a future build. I wish could post a picture of the build. Fully recommended.

I was a little hesitant about buying a handguard that was held on by 4 set screws but I figured for $72 I’d give it a shot.
Not bad. Not bad at all. Nice finish, no sharp edges and the thing went together easy as hell. I didn’t have to beat the **** out of it like my BCM rails. Oh and it’s light…. Like ridiculously light, it was a damn shame to weigh the upper down with a heavy scope but that’s what I bought it for sooooo the slim girl got fat.
The barrel nut was a lot more robust than I figured an aluminum nut would be but small. All in all it’s a good rail and not just for the price, just a good deal period. Cons, not a lot of mlok slots which is a bit of a bummer but this is strictly a target rifle for me so whatever.
