This 6.5 Creedmoor chambered (DPMS style) 24 inch barrel is machined from 416R Stainless Steel with a bead blasted finish. Our Premium Series 6.5 Creedmoor Barrels are proof fired and MPI tested, ensuring the best in quality and accuracy.
6.5 Creedmoor is the perfect option if you’re looking to maximize the accuracy of your .308 platform. Apart from a simple barrel swap, all parts, including the bolt and mag, remain the same as a normal .308 build. The inherently accurate 6.5mm projectile, the increasing amount of off-the-shelf match grade factory 6.5 Creedmoor ammunition, and the extremely soft recoil pulse all combine to create one of the best black rifle options available.

I only gave 4 stars now because I haven’t built it yet. Other than that, it specs. out perfect. As good as any match barrel costing twice as much. I still wish it would come without muzzle end threading for a brake. You really don’t need it for a caliber that doesn’t hardly have recoil on a soft shooting semi-auto rifle. Plus I live in N.J. so installing a brake is a one time deal, being pinned and welded, there is no easy way of changing it at a later date. … B.Kings price, service, shipping,Communication after hours, is second to none! I’ll let you know how it shoots after I pick a brake.

Still breaking it in, but as of now with appr. 300 rounds sent thru it, it has been true, even hot. It likes the Nosler 120gr and Hornady 129gr.
Bullets tends to drop 1-2 inches once the barrel gets 60 rounds of nonstop firing

All I can say is buy it. This barrel is mounted to a matched Panther Arms DPMS upper and lower with a Sharps Rifle Co. BCG. Headspaced perfectly with 40lbs of torque on the barrel nut. Followed the break in procedure recommended by Ballistic Advantage and zeroed the rifle while doing the break in. Once break in was complete, shooting 140gr Hornady Interlock bullets over 34.7gn of IMR4895, 5 groups of 4 rounds all sub MOA. Rifle was on a bipod with a rear beanbag. On three of the groups I had two rounds make one enlarged hole so the barrel is clearly more capable than I am.
