Description

Our Birdcage Muzzle Brake/Flash Hider with 6 slots and solid bottom is designed in the extended A2 style with 1/2″x28 thread pitch. It’s constructed of solid 4150 steel and has a high quality Black Phosphate finish.

    Horrible phosphate finish on this flash hider, extremely patchy and uneven. If you have an upscale nitrided barrel, do yourself a favor and look elsewhere. This thing is going to ruin your entire look.

    This item is perfect for 14.5” projects when trying to hit 16” via pin/weld or high-temp silver solder. Not only is the finish excellent, this also does a great job reducing muzzle flash with an added benefit of taming muzzle rise.

    I ordered 2 of these for 14.5 barrels. They are quality and with the hole pre-drilled for pinning makes it easy to use. BKINGS delivers!

    I have not installed this FH yet, but did thread it onto a barrel. It threaded on straight and smooth with the pre-drilled hole and crush washer for pinning a perfect addition for a 14.5 to legal 16 inch barrel. The finish is nice with a typical black/gray parked looking finish. There is some slight machining marks on it which is the only reason for 4 star rating. I don’t care since it has hot gas and bullets blasting through it. I bought 2 and would buy more of these if I needed them. For the price these are hard to beat and comparable to much more expensive extended A2 Flash Hiders.
