This 6.5 Grendel Type II chambered 18 inch barrel is machined from 416 Stainless Steel with a QPQ corrosion resistant finish. This BKF 416-R Barrel features a FailZero Nickel Boron Coated Extended M4 Feed Ramp Extension.
This barrel features a longer .750” profile dimension necessary for proper installation of the OPS Inc 12th model collar and suppressor.

This is a very nice barrel, You can tell right away that it is high quality, The feed ramps are cut perfectly and the coating feels great. It’s not too heavy so that helps keep my hunting rifle on the lighter side as well.

Excellent quality and workmanship. The rifle length gas system recoils softer than my mid length gas systems. Functioned flawlessly ejecting cases at 3-3:30. Extremely accurate! First three rounds group 1/4″ center to center at 25 meters. A dime covers the 3 shot group.

First, this is my second time dealing with BKF and I must say their customer service is awesome! As for the barrel … after seasoning of approximately 20 rounds and dialing in the optics the barrel performed sub MOA as long as I did my part! Awesome product with awesome service! Highly recommend business with BKF!
