Description

New for 2024 is our M16A2 Receiver that is part of our new Retro Series. The development of the M16A2 rifle was originally requested by the United States Marine Corps in 1979 as a result of combat experience in Vietnam with the M16A1. It was officially adopted by the Department of Defense as the “Rifle, 5.56 mm, M16A2” in 1983. The Marines were the first branch of the U.S. Armed Forces to adopt it, in the early/mid-1980s, with the United States Army following suit in 1986.

BKF AR15 20″ 5.56 Govt Profile Rifle 4150 CMV 1/7 Twist FSB Chrome Lined Phos Barrel ( NON F-Marked )”

Our 5.56 chambered 20 inch Government Rifle Length Barrel is machined from CrMoV steel with a chrome lined bore and chamber with a manganese phosphate finish and phosphate coated M4 feed ramp extension.  This barrel includes the front sight base ( NON F-Marked) , handguard cap and delta ring assembly. This Triangle handguard cap is used for most retro builds.
