The FFSSR is a sleek, one-piece handguard that offers one of the slimmest profiles available on the market (1.50″), plus outstanding versatility for attaching your choice of accessories. Built-in, full-length top Picatinny rail provides plenty of versatility in mounting optics and sights, while four limited-rotation QD push button sling swivel mounts let you position the sling where it’s most comfortable for you. M-LOK Compatible also!
The P3R rail is built on Parallax’s proven AR-15 Free Float Super Slim Rail (FFSSR) design, and features slight changes to account for the heavier needs of .308 rifle systems. The .308 Rail utilizes internal ribs to strengthen and add rigidity to the rail, and is mounting using an scaled-up barrel nut system similar to that of the FFSSR.
This 308 rail system is strong enough to handle the rigors of duty rifle use, while it is also one of the thinnest and most ergonomic rail systems available for 7.62 NATO AR style rifles. Their design features a thin, rail-free section in the center of the rail that improves ergonomics.

On a rifle length gas system, roughly an inch past this rail goes past, I like what the end offers with the picitanny rails, no need to buy additional MLOK rails,
Installing on an 18 inch barrel, with the 13.5 rail, I do have another that is a 15.5 on a 20 inch build,
Would have preferred the same length as the 20 inch barrel that I have, at times like these I will be happy with the purchase choice.
Contemplating of replacement of the other rifles I have with these rails.
A few years ago I knew I should have bought more when they were in stock, before covid.
For my other rifles, or next builds highly recommended these, rugged design, does everything you need, offers so much that other companies rails don’t offer

I was happy to see these come back in stock, as I’ve been enjoying the the smaller version on a regular ar and wanted a different handguard for my lr308.
The fit and finish is great and it mated up perfectly to my aero upper receiver. No rough edges, and feels good in the hand. The only thing I would have wanted different on the handguard is anti rotation tabs, or if a crowd foot came with the handgun for tightening the barrel nut. I still recommend it though.
