    After receiving from Mr. King the Aero pistol build kit with 10.5″ barrel and 3.25″ KAK flash can, I discovered that the finished overall length of the gun was a hair over 27″ long. Yes, it was legal in the eyes of the ATF, but I did not like the prospect of explainin’ de rules to Sheriff Buford T. Justice in the event of a search. I bought a 1.75″ KAK can to replace the longer one. The end of the new can is now flush with rails and the overall length is a little under 26″. The flash/bang is no big deal, so I think it was a good swap.

    Came exactly as ordered.
    Outer diameter measured to a static 1.1965in when cold; requires a 1.1200in diameter clearance if slipping a handguard over it. Large cylinder is approximately 1.2000in in length.
    The threaded portion’s diameter is approximately 0.90in with two flat faces cut for a 3/4″ wrench; it’s length is approximately 0.55in from threaded end to start of the large cylinder.
    The total length is measured to approximately 1.7500in as specified.

    A rifle is a tool. This improves the usability of said tool. I could not care less about looks. For the first time I am able to make out the sound of spring and other action components because of noise reduction to the shooter. Further I was able to tune the barrel with it, reducing group size. Besides, I do not need to hid the muzzle flash from anything I hunt with it, none of them are armed.

    There is zero purpose in a flash suppressor other than to damage your hearing. Just like there’s a great reduction in noise just removing the flash suppressor, this device decreases the perceived noise that much more! GREAT. I was also able to use it with a jam nut to tune my barrels for accuracy with a particular load, much the same way the boss system works.

    I am a Palmetto State Armory brand loyalist, at least I was. This year with the industry in the state that its in, PSA was no longer able to keep my business with their expected price gouging.
