The BKF M4 MOD-0 Stripped Upper Receiver is a step up from our regular BKF-15 stripped uppers. The M4 MOD-0 uppers are held to tighter tolerances, Dry film lubed and tight fitting when paired with our M4 MOD-0 Lowers. Forged from 7075-T6 aluminum, this stripped upper is precision machined to mil-spec M16/M4 specifications and features M4 feedramps. Match this upper with one of our M4 MOD-0 lower receivers for a solid and dependable fit. This upper receiver has laser engraved T-Marks. (The Inside Diameter for the barrel extension is slightly undersized for a tighter fit to the barrel and will produce a more accurate rifle. Please note: you may need to use a heat gun or hair dryer to warm up threaded bore of receiver and freeze your barrel if your barrel extension is too tight.)

Just got this in the mail today and im really friggin happy with it! I love how the anodizing matches with my PSA lower. The fit is great, tho there is a bit of wiggle which im not worried about as my matching aero m4e1 recievers ALSO have the same wiggle. Over-all im very statisfied with it even with the blem. The blem on mine was located on the left side of the reciever, i honestly was expecting much worse. It was just like the coating being marred up. Everything else seems to function well. The T Marks on it where deep and white. Now to be honest i wouldnt know what a dry film lubbed upper looks like but i assume its the shiny coating inside the reciever portion where the bolt carrier and gas tube sits, its slippery smooth inside. I did notice some tool marks i guess inside but i do think it will affect the function. My upper also came with a “U” stamping on it which i am not familiar with, so i went ahead and researched it and found out that it was from a forging firm called UNIFOR/BRAWO located in South Carolina. I wrote his upper had it and was supposed to be a factory Aero set. Anyways again, im very happy with the item i got for less. Couldnt care less about those gun snobs we meet on the internet, as long as my blasters work when SHTF im all for it. Will definately be purchasing more from this company in the future.

Great upper especially for the price, they now they note these are snug fit , being they were blem and there are so many different barrel manufacturers I’d say that’s a yes and no thing. One out of three were snug (but not to the point I had to heat or freeze anything) two had less play than most standard uppers but not a supper snug fit.
They knocked it out of the park on this , and you have to live a company that uses all US made parts with US sourced materials.

I have purchased 2 of these. The first was easily 5 stars; very minor blem, cleanly machined, pinned forward assist, and overall an excellent value. The 2nd was a genuine blem. There’s a pretty good gouge just above the takedown pin, scratches on both sides of the forward assist area, and the forward assist was not pinned. Neither one fit the barrels tightly. Would I buy again to roll the dice? Yes I would. The price is really good for a t-marked receiver with dry film interior coating. Both receivers are on working rifles that’ll get used and abused.
