This BKF 5.56 chambered 16 inch Government Profile Barrel is machined from 4150 Chrome Moly Vanadium steel with a QPQ Corrosion Resistant Finish and QPQ coated M4 feed ramp extension. This barrel includes the front sight base (F-Marked) , Triangle handguard cap and delta ring assembly.
All NFA/ATF Rules Apply
You may use this barrel with a lower receiver that is a Registered SBR, Machine Gun, or Pistol. Possession of this barrel along with a Non-NFA lower receiver is Prohibited, except when permanently attaching a muzzle device extending the length to 16 inches.

Upon inspection of this upper the parts used are high quality noting the Aero precision upper receiver. The B.king barrel is nicely machined with a perfect finish and gas tube has a nice melonite finish. Im overall very pleased with the quality parts used in this assembly a true value at the listed price. I look forward to shooting it soon.
My only gripes are the ‘Round’ carbine handguard cap, I assumed it would have the correct A2 triangle cap. Buyers take note the round cap is the wrong part for a midlength upper assembly and limits you drastically on handguard selection. To be correct to blue print it should be an A2 triangle style handguard cap you will be limited to magpul moe SL handguards or free float handguards. The last gripe is the assembler didn’t index the barrel nut and flash hider fully but that was an easy fix having the tools on hand to index both the Barrel nut and flash hider a few degrees to top dead center. Thanks for offering a high value product just pay closer attention to assembly details. I do imagine the errors were mostly due to being rushed to get product out due to current high sale volumes. Thank you.

I bought this for a new build that is still in the process of being completed. Obviously, I haven’t had the opportunity to hit the range as of yet. The overall quality of this assembly appears to be of pretty decent quality. The 4 star rating is due to the handguard end cap being round. On a mid-length gas system most end caps are triangular. I had already ordered my handguard before I received this upper, so I’ve had to order a different set of handguards that will hopefully fit. Maybe somewhere in the description they can add that detail about have round handguard end caps. Finding aluminum mid-length drop-in handguards made for round end caps isn’t as easy as you would think. Other than that, I look forward to putting this assembly to the test once my build is complete.

I bought this for a new build. I paired it with a Rainier BCG and Stag stripped lower with M&P parts kit and FCG. Ran a 30 round mag through it with zero issues. I am happy with the purchase. At first I was disappointed with the round handguard end cap. I had to searched and find handguards to fit a mid-length gas system with round end cap that actually looked good. All in all, I’m pleased with the upper.

By the way, I’m the one that asked if you made a retro 16″ dissipator or a 20″ A3 upper, and you referred me to this mid-length model. I own now 3 of your uppers in different configurations. There’s no other better quality and or better value than BKF AR-15’s as of 4/2022. Keep up the good work!

Had been extensively pawing over the PSA site looking at uppers for weeks and not pulling the trigger because of the horrible reviews and the questionable customer service they seemingly provide kept me from pulling the trigger and then I came across this site and knew that my search was over and immediately pulled the trigger on this awesome upper.
