Description

Faxon’s MATCH SERIES of barrels takes our renowned performance and value up a notch.

Manufactured 100% in-house from gun-barrel-quality bar-stock, the Match Series starts with 416-R in 5R rifling. 5R is a hybrid rifling, with lands opposite grooves and reduced sharp angles that reduces jacket deformation increasing velocity and easy cleaning. We chamber our Match Series in .223 Wylde, a hybrid chamber that the 5R rifling takes full advantage of. Better accuracy through less bullet jump, but fully and individually MPI tested for your safety. After rigorous testing, the barrels are Nitride treated inside and out, locking in the bore, improving barrel life, and keeping the elements at bay.

The extension is coated in Nickel Teflon which maintains incredible dry lubricity, corrosion resistance, and with the coating, tightens up fit between the extension and receiver – again improving upon accuracy. Combined, the Match Series of barrels are ready for when duty calls or the buzzer beeps with unrivaled performance value.

Beautiful and well made. It will be on my new build. Unbelievable price!!

I haven’t shot it yet, but the extension was a nice tight fit into my Palmetto upper receiver. Getting it into the receiver extension wasn’t difficult, thanks to the Ni-teflon coating. Looks well made, lighter than my 20″ NATO profile. Giving it 4 stars for the build quality.

Best price I’ve been able to find on these Faxon Barrels. Easy install into a Rock River Arms receiver. Was originally looking at the 18” because I thought it would look better with my handguard (plus an awesome price), but they sold out pretty quick, so went ahead and got the 20”. So glad I did because it actually looks SUPER NICE with the 15” MI handguard! Also seemed to cycle ammo much easier than my previous barrel. (This was replacing a cheap 16” BCA barrel that I just couldn’t trust past 200yds for shooting coyotes). The heavy flute gives it a very nice thick/sturdy look but is still light weight. Got it to the range today and easily shoots sub MOA. Was getting about 1/4” groups at 50yds. Making 5 shot groups you could barely make out 4 separate holes… Using 73gr Hornady Match, and 55gr Hornady Varmint Exp. Even the cheapest 556/223 ammo I had was shooting about .5-1” at most at 50yds. Now can’t wait to take this out in the field and put some real distance on it!

Best price I’ve been able to find on these Faxon Barrels, and fast shipping. Easy install into a Rock River Arms receiver. This 20” fluted barrel looks SUPER NICE with my 15” MI handguard! Also seemed to cycle ammo much smoother than my previous barrel. This was replacing a cheap 16” BCA barrel that I just couldn’t trust past 200yds for shooting coyotes. The heavy flute gives it a very nice thick/sturdy look but is still light weight. Got it to the range and easily shoots sub MOA. Was getting about 1/4” groups at 50yds. Making 5 shot groups you could barely make out 4 separate holes… Using 73gr Hornady Match, and 55gr Hornady Varmint Exp. Even the cheapest 556/223 ammo I had was shooting about .5-1” at most. After sighting in at 50yds, I took it out to my back field where I was easily able to hit gallon and 2liter jugs at 400yds. After seeing how well it shoots, I definitely want to try 500-600 yds now.
