Faxon Firearms barrels are the pinnacle of value. Manufactured 100% in-house from cradle-to-grave, these barrels are fully stress relieved, air-gauge tested, and 11 degree target crowned to ensure superior accuracy.
Quality is imbued into our barrels from the start. We start with the best materials, either certified 4150 Mil-Spec steel or 416-R Stainless. From there, each barrel goes through a battery of tests at each operation until finished in Nitride and final inspected. All barrels are individually checked for headspace by precision custom hardened gauges.

High quality barrel at a great price. If you’ve never tried a good pencil profile barrel, the accuracy and POI shift are much better than you would guess! Perfect for for my lightweight build.

This barrel runs fine, so I still gave it 3 stars – but the bore looked significantly rough in the bore-scope, chamber was likewise pretty rough (it leaves abrasions on the brass when firing), and the threads at the muzzle were not cut deep enough (took about 120 ft-lbs of torque to get the muzzle device on – and I tried 8 different flash hiders, 100% had the same fitment issue – so it was definitely the barrel out of spec, not the flash-hider). That said, the flash hider did go on, the barrel runs like a champ, kicks brass to about 2:30 (slightly over-gassed, but that’s fine), and it’s a super-light pencil barrel on a gun with a red dot that I’m never going to care if it’s sub-MOA or not. So for my intended purpose, it’s still very serviceable.
